Traumaware is a small program that has been developed to assist surgeons in selecting from the extensive prosthetic catalogue that all of the surgical implant suppliers maintain. The program will be especially useful after hours in order to track down the relevant product and to easily find the supplier and the contact details of the representive.

Initially, the program is only covering trauma implants though if it is deemed to be useful to our surgical colleagues, the program will be extended to include other aspects of orthopaedic surgery. The program is freely available to any orthopaedic surgeon and is in no way meant to signify our preference of a particular implant or supplier over another.

All of the information has been freely supplied by the respective prosthetic companies. This program should only be seen as a facilitator for the surgeon .Dr Raja Sawhney has played a large part in helping us develop the program. Thanks Raja.
